Collection: Japanese stationery

Japanese letter paper is part of a tradition of handwriting that remains very much alive in Japan: a note attached to a gift, a thank-you card, or a longer letter to a loved one. Many of our stationery sets are made of washi paper, a traditional Japanese paper renowned for its texture and durability, crafted from plant fibers rather than wood pulp.

Each set includes several sheets of letter paper paired with envelopes, in formats ranging from a few large sheets to dozens of small miniature sheets. The designs, often floral or animal-themed, change with the collections, perfect for writing a quick note, a longer letter, or accompanying a gift with a handwritten thought.
