This chiyogami paper combines pink and white sakura branches with Japanese geometric patterns (asanoha, seigaiha waves) on a green background.
In Japan, the sakura symbolizes ephemeral beauty and renewal: it is also the flower of hanami, the tradition of admiring cherry blossoms in the spring.
A lamp handmade in France
The paper is cut and assembled by hand in our Toulouse workshop to become a cylindrical lampshade.
When lit, the light shines through the washi and highlights every detail of the pattern: the petals, the branches, and the golden touches.
